Expertise
Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are available in the dispensary, in clinics and on the wards to provide expert advice on how you should take your medicines.
How to use the service
If you are admitted into hospital, please bring your medicines with you. This means that we can check what you are taking and make sure we supply the right medicine when you are discharged home. If during your hospital stay you need help or advise about your medicines, please ask the ward staff to contact a member of the pharmacy staff who will come and speak to you.
If you visit the hospital as an out-patient you may be given a hospital prescription. You should present this to the Pharmacy Shop and your medicine will be supplied to you.
Location
The in-patient pharmacy is situated near to the maternity block at Stepping Hill Hospital.
The pharmacy shop is located on the ground floor in the corridor just off the hospital’s main entrance.
