How to use the service
Hospital (acute) service:
- Ward staff will refer you to the service as an inpatient- this may be due to weight loss, low body mass index (BMI) or poor dietary intake. Please speak to the staff on the ward if you have any concerns about your food intake or nutritional status
- If you are seen as an outpatient by a Consultant or Specialist Nurses and need to be seen by a Dietitian, they may refer to the Acute Dietitians who will contact you with appointment details for Stepping Hill Hospital.
Community service
- Our service is available for patients registered with a Stockport GP aged 18 or over
