Why it is important
Everyone at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust has a responsibility for safeguarding.
If you are worried about the safety or welfare of a child, young person or adult at risk of harm or abuse, you can talk to the ward manager, senior sister or matron or use the contact details for the Safeguarding Teams in the following section.
Stockport NHS Foundation Trust Safeguarding Teams
The safeguarding service at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust comprises of registered nurses, health visitors, school nurses, social workers, midwifes and administration staff who have all received additional training and qualifications in safeguarding children and adults at risk.
The safeguarding team works in close partnership with other agencies such as the police, social care, education and other health providers to ensure children and adults at risk are safeguarded and protected.
