We`re currently experiencing high rates of norovirus on our hospital wards.
If you’re visiting loved ones in the hospital, please help us protect patients, and our colleagues and other visitors by being mindful of norovirus, the winter vomiting bug.
- If you’ve had sickness or diarrhoea, please stay home until 48 hours after symptoms stop.
- Use soap and water before and after your visit. Hand sanitisers don’t work against norovirus.
- Respect any restrictions to safeguard vulnerable patients. Let’s keep our hospitals safe this winter.
