Whether it’s running, cycling, swimming or something a bit different – here’s everything you need to know to take on your own sponsored challenge for Stockport NHS Charity.
A lot of challenges take place during spring and autumn months to avoid weather extremes, but there are many options throughout the year. The most important thing to consider is how long you would require to train and then select your ideal dates from there when looking for a challenge.
Use websites such as Findarace.com or Letsdothis.com to search for events by activity type, area and date.
When you know who’s taking on the challenge, consider areas you can travel to and where your supporters would be able to get to if you’d like them to come and cheer you on! In some cases, it may be that the challenge is a chance to visit a place you’ve never been before, or you might prefer something a bit closer to home.
