Our occupational health service is part of Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. The Trust serves the residents of Stockport, the High Peak and beyond. We are an associate teaching hospital, helping to train doctors and nurses of the future.
Occupational health is the branch of healthcare that is concerned with the relationship between people’s health and their work. We support industries both public and private and firmly believe in personal contact. An individual’s health may affect the type of work that is being undertaken, or there may be factors in the workplace that people with certain health problems should avoid. We provide independent, impartial advice and look to support employee health and wellbeing to optimise performance and attendance at work.
We consider the social value aspects of supporting and promoting our local community and the environment through better spending of public money.
