Patient behind the bed boards

Behind each patient bed there is a patient bed board containing information that both patient and staff need to know, including:

• The name of the nurse caring for you
• The name of the consultant overseeing your care
• Your expected date of discharge from hospital (EDD), this may change according to your medical treatment and recovery plan
• What matters most to you
